CPP41619 Cert IV in Urban Pest Management is a qualification for those Pest Management Technicians who have already obtained Certificate III CPP30119 or CPP30115 in Urban Pest Management and are seeking deeper specialisation in the urban pest management sector.
Specialist roles of a Cert IV qualified Pest Management Professional require a range of skills and attributes including planning, coordinating, managing and completing small to large scale pest management operations.
The qualification applies to individuals who work in urban pest management in a range of challenging contexts.
This qualification may be completed through a combination of Face to Face Classroom learning and workplace based learning, or it may be completed remotely by workplace learning.
Alternatively if a candidate feels that they have sufficient workplace experience and subject knowledge, they may be eligible to complete the Qualification through the Recognition of Prior Learning process. This qualification includes a minimum of 11 units of competency

CPPUPM4006 Implement and monitor pest management plans for complex operations

up to 2 units from Groups A, B or C not already selected
1 elective unit may be selected from any training package, as long as it contributes to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome and maintains the AQF level of this qualification.

Up to 1 elective unit may be selected from any training package, as long as they contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome and maintain the AQF level of this qualification. Candidates would need to discuss this with a Protrain Assessor to determine validity.
